The Fellowship of the Bear is the community service arm of John Garamendi for Congress.

Lieutenant Governor Garamendi’s experiences as an Eagle Scout and in the Peace Corps fortified his passion for public service and his belief that community service and involvement are essential to the vitality of local communities.

Goals
The Goals of the Fellowship of the Bear are two-fold:
1.) To understand the community, its people, and history
2.) To assist in planning and implementing local community enrichment projects
