At Winters BBQ Fundraiser, Congressman Garamendi Pledges Support for Regional Agriculture and American Manufacturing

WINTERS, CA – At a packed fundraiser BBQ on farmland owned by Richard Rominger, President Bill Clinton’s Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Congressman John Garamendi thanked attendees for their support and pledged to continue his fight for local agriculture and a Make It In America agenda to rebuild America’s manufacturing sector.

"My Republican colleagues often talk about what the founding fathers wanted. I’m right there with them. When George Washington was inaugurated as our nation’s first president, he refused to wear a suit made in England and sought an American clothier," said Congressman Garamendi. "We could Make It In America then. We can Make it In America now."
